Guardian Blocks
Private Regions
The private regions system allows players to create and manage their own territories on the server. This provides the ability to secure your valuable resources, buildings, and entities from unwanted interaction by other players.
Creating a Region
To create your own private region, you simply need to place a special "Guardian" block on the ground. There are 3 types of these blocks with different radii:
Guardian I - 6 block radius
Guardian II - 11 block radius
Guardian III - 16 block radius
As soon as you place one of these blocks, it will become the core of your private region. You automatically become the owner of this region.
Managing Membership
As the region owner, you can add and remove players who will have access to your territory. Use the following commands for this:
/region add <player>
- Add a player to your region/region remove <player>
- Remove a player from your region/region list
- View the list of members in your region
Only the owner and added members of the region can interact with blocks and entities within. Other players will not be able to break, place, use, or damage anything within your region.
Region Protection
Your private region is protected from various actions:
Block destruction protection - Only owners in creative mode can break the "Guardian" blocks
Interactive block usage protection - Players without access cannot use doors, levers, buttons, etc.
Bucket usage protection - Players without access cannot fill or empty buckets
Entity damage protection - Players without access cannot attack or interact with entities
Explosion protection - Explosions will not destroy blocks within your region
Resource Maintenance
Resource Maintenance
Each private region has its own set of resources required to sustain it over time. These resources are gradually consumed, and if they are depleted, the region will be destroyed.
The specific resources needed for each type of Guardian block are as follows:
Resources are spent every hour in all privates at the same time
You need one of each of the resource options from the two lists (Example: 4 sticks and 1 emerald) for the guardian to sustain it.
Guardian I
1 of any log type (Oak, Spruce, Birch, Jungle, Acacia, Dark Oak, Mangrove, or Cherry)
1 of any plank type (Oak, Spruce, Birch, Jungle, Acacia, Dark Oak, Mangrove, or Cherry)
4 Sticks
1 Cobblestone
1 Copper Ingot
1 Iron Nugget
2 Gold Nuggets
1 Emerald
Guardian II
2 of any log type (Oak, Spruce, Birch, Jungle, Acacia, Dark Oak, Mangrove, or Cherry)
2 of any plank type (Oak, Spruce, Birch, Jungle, Acacia, Dark Oak, Mangrove, or Cherry)
1 Cobbled Deepslate
2 Cobblestone
2 Copper Ingots
1 Emerald
4 Gold Nuggets
2 Iron Nuggets
Guardian III
4 of any log type (Oak, Spruce, Birch, Jungle, Acacia, Dark Oak, Mangrove, or Cherry)
4 Cobbled Deepslate
2 Netherrack
2 Soul Sand
5 Copper Ingots
1 Iron Ingot
1 Gold Ingot
1 Emerald
The resources are consumed at a rate of 1 set per hour. This means that to sustain a Guardian region for 1 hour, you would need 1 of each resource from the Guardian list.
You can access your region's resource inventory by interacting with the corresponding Guardian block. This will allow you to check the current resources and replenish them as needed to prevent your region from being destroyed.
It's important to regularly monitor your region's resource levels and maintain a sufficient supply to ensure its continued existence. Running out of any of the required resources will result in the region being destroyed and its contents being dropped to the ground.
Region Lifespan
As the owner, you can see how much time is left before your region is destroyed. This time is calculated based on the current resources in the region's inventory.
The more resources you have, the longer your region will last. Don't forget to refill its supplies in time!
If a region is destroyed due to lack of resources, all items from the region's inventory will be dropped on the ground.
