Temperature - calculated from indicators such as:
Sun light level - the less you're exposed to the sun, the more the temperature drops to zero. (That is, under the ground in the desert it will be cooler, and on the contrary warmer in winter)
Block light level - from a torch, a campfire, fire, lamps, etc.
Smoker and Campfire - +7 if Campfire near player, +10 if Smoker near player (Only affects player)
Armor temperature - Clothing raises your temperature, leather armor does it best.
Biomes - each biome has its own ambient temperature.
Seasons - depending on the current season, the temperature can rise and fall.
Instability - every morning the temperature varies from its average acceptable value.
If you close yourself off from the SKY light in the room, the temperature will tend to zero (maximum 7 degrees difference) (warmer in winter and colder in the desert)
If you place a MAGMA or PACKED ICE unit under the storage unit, its temperature will rise or fall by 15 degrees.
in order to understand the current temperature and time of year, you need to create a thermometer and a clock.
pressing the thermometer on the block will show the block temperature.
low temperature causes the player to get frostbite.
high temperature makes the player nauseous and then desiccates.
food spoils or keeps better depending on the temperature of the environment.
the plant crops grows better at a good temperature. At high temperatures, they dry out.
